I was looking for a pair of low boots tor casual wear, mostly during the winter. I love my rubber LLBean boots, but I wanted something that would breathe. These do very nicely and seem to be holding up well, as I am rough on shoes. They look great with a pair of khakis or jeans -- rugged, but nice enough for a casual restaurant or the coffee shop. My one criticism is I wish they were a little narrower.

Besides a little glitch when my husband opened them for Christmas, they were the wrong size in the right size box. Amazon sent the right ones out in 2 days. Great boot, we are both pleased with the service and with the quality of the boot!
